Following works are included in External Audit of Housing Society :

1. Checking of each and every cash and cheque payment vouchers thoroughly with payment bills or receipts attached. Check payment vouchers are signed by at least 2 office bearers of Society.
2. Checking of Personal Ledger of all Members with their dues amount as on 31^st
3. Checking of General Ledger of each and every head of accounts and verify these heads are tallied with Trial Balance
4. Checking of Balance Sheet, Income and Expenditure Account, Receipt and Payment Account.
5. Checking of Investment schedule with existing FDRs of Society
6. Checking of maintenance of each and every member of Society and verify their dues are tallied with their Personal ledger.
7. Checking of Statutory Registers like I Register, J Register, Investment Register, Nomination Register, Property Register, Sinking Fund Register and Share Register.
8. Checking of Managing Committee Minutes Book and Annual General Minutes book
9. Preparation of Final Audit Report as per Govt format
10. Give General Remarks to Societies and give Audit Class.
